STEAM Imagine Youth Apprenticeships (youth apprenticeship range from elementary to high school) and they are creative based learning experiences that includes a range of activities that expose youth to entrepreneurship and Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) careers and support on-the-job experiences. These experiences include vocational exploration, career assessments, industry site visits, job shadowing, internships (paid and unpaid), entrepreneurial ventures, and/or paid employment (part-time). Whatever the specialized apprenticeship, STEAM Imagine will work with participating youth to review the lessons learned in the scheduled apprenticeship programs and activities to help the youth make the connection between what is being learned in the STEAM Imagine Youth Apprenticeship program and what is expected in the world of work.
STEAM Imagine Youth Apprenticeships are coordinated and scheduled apprenticeships for a certain period (1, 3, 6 months and/or annually) via a contract agreement between STEAM Imagine and the approved community business/organizational entity.
Additionally, STEAM Imagine conducts STEAM workshops, classes, seminars and camps for youth with local community-based organizations, schools and contracts with the Federal Government to provide specialized STEAM programs and services for youth.

STEAM Imagine specialized events, seminars and conference management are tailed to meet our clients’ goals and targeted audience. STEAM Imagine Life Skills and Empowerment Training services encompasses engaging youth ed in practical life skills and in-depth group sessions designed to strengthen various life skills sets. For example, the life skills include life lessons in “best practices” and “lessons learned” in finance literacy and budgeting, preparing for job interviews, dress for success, health and wellness, and socialization transitioning into the work world to name a few. STEAM Imagine is dedicated to preparing youth for the real world. Each workshop has emphasis on living a healthy lifestyle to include physical fitness, emotional intelligence and managing time and much more. Time management teaches our young adults about setting timelines for daily activities such as: determining what they will wear for the next day the night before or how to set aside time for homework on a game night, etc. Information, techniques, and ideas from our esteemed partners who are professionals, entrepreneurs and organizational entity representatives who provide professional consultation services to young adults on a variety of life skills sets that are necessary to obtain and survive in the 21st century workforce labor market in America. STEAM Imagine Empowerment training services consist of various seminars, specialized events and conference management platforms that are strategically planned and scheduled per our customer’s goals and objectives.
STEAM Imagine Empowerment services help youth and adults become self-sufficient and productive members of society and the workplace. The activities and services include the following: scheduled public speaking forums and participation in specialized training and workshops that are held with the goal to develop relationships within the organization, community and specialized careerists in various career occupations who discuss the importance of what it takes to be successful in that particular career and how to develop independent decision-making skills, engage in service learning opportunities, and learn self-determination and self-advocacy skills. These specialized training events also focus on active engagement and participation.
STEAM Imagine Empowerment services are provided in group workshop settings via in person and virtually with STEAM Imagine contracted STEAM professionals as scheduled events.

STEAM Imagine career activities and services are undertaken in collaboration with the youth’s educational and occupational interests, such as: participating in academic programs based by state standards; using program options based on universal design of school and work; or participating in work-based learning experiences, while receiving support and guidance from and by the STEAM Imagine contracted STEAM career professionals. STEAM Imagine professionals are experienced and are subject matter experts in their profession and they provide their own life experience regarding their education and career pursuits in support of and exposure to the various career options to include vocational, educational, entrepreneurship and employment opportunities. STEAM Imagine’s Education and Career Counseling services are scheduled one on one sessions (virtually or in person) and with youth (ages 17 and under), parental and/or an approved adult permission is required.
STEAM Imagine Education and Career Counseling services are aimed at helping young adults connect to the services and supports that will assist them as they transition to the next phase in life with the ultimate goal of engaging in employment that will provide for economic self-sufficiency. Connecting activities helps youth access outside services, supports, and activities. For example, education and career counseling, tutoring, mentoring, career assessments, preparing Individual Career Plan Development profiles and providing access to specialized career workshops are all important connecting activities. A particular emphasis is placed on helping STEAM Imagine young adults explore and connect with Government, organizations and businesses involved in supporting, counseling and individual development in pursuing entrepreneurship, post-secondary education, and a focus in exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) careers.
