Our History
Established in 2021, STEAM Imagine, an IRS-certified 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization, focuses on youth education and empowerment utilizing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) learning programs to inspire and empower youth to explore STEAM careers.
The goals for STEAM Imagine were created to align with our business partnership with Youth Empowers Service, LLC.
Our Founder
Established in 2021, STEAM Imagine, a certified 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization, focuses on youth education and empowerment utilizing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) learning programs to inspire and empower youth to explore STEAM careers. Our team led by our President and Founding Director of STEAM Imagine, Dr. Belinda Jones, has a successful and proven record providing education, training, and career counseling services to the Federal government and the private sector.
Dr. Belinda Jones has over 25 years of client experience in recruiting unique professional and support staff, program management and evaluation in support of Education, Transition, and Career Support Services (for the Army, Marine Corps, and Army Reserves). Our Founder has over 20 years of client experience with development, staff recruitment, and oversight of DoD Youth STEM programs including STARBASE (Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Space Force).
Dr. Jones has operationalized and executed professional career and educational training seminars and forums for DoD community, military services, academe and industry audiences to include serving as the President of the Council of College and Military Educators, an international organization serving membership of 1500+ participants annually. She had also spearheaded a national apprenticeship program that supported over 10,000 military Service members.
We engage directly with our clients to solve challenges that require advanced knowledge and expertise, as well as an in-depth understanding of each client’s mission and domain. With this powerful blend of technical excellence and proven experience, we stand out in the competitive market as visionary architects who think ahead, inspire confidence, and deliver superb results through forward thinking, strategic planning, and execution of services. We actively support several DoD contracts focused on education, career services and STEAM-enrichment programs for youth.
STEAM Imagine and their partners have provided access and organized multiple STEAM programs for over 4,500 the youths through more than 150 class sessions in the 2022-2023 school year and over 40 outreach programs.
Our Purpose
We believe supporting the youth with STEAM programs is a crucial investment in our collective future. Many youths from disadvantaged backgrounds lack access to quality STEAM education. STEAM Imagine and its partners can help bridge this gap by providing opportunities for creative STEAM learning. STEAM Imagine allows youth to explore and engage in STEAM activities to spark interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Our program introduces STEAM through engaging activities, and these programs inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
Our Partners
Our partnerships with Federal, State and local community organizations can provide our youth with tangible examples of STEAM careers and pathways by showcasing success stories and demonstrating how Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math can lead to meaningful livelihoods.
Partnering and supporting STEAM programs with STEAM Imagine helps remove barriers for students who lack resources. Ensuring that the youth can participate meaningfully in STEAM programs is crucial for building a more equitable and innovative society. Supporting our youth and STEAM not only benefits the individual students but also contributes to a stronger more inclusive STEAM workforce for the future. Together, we can engage, empower, and educate the youth to dream and pursue STEAM careers.
